Scrap Wood Art Collective is (currently) @f1ed3rmaus12 and @apple.butch. We propagate art for anticapitalist, liberatory movements. Toni Cade Bambara said it best: Our job as artists is to make revolution irresistible. Good art inspires, incites, educates, mobilises, comforts. Everyone deserves good art.
Scrapwood is our shared commitment to making honest, affordable art for the revolution – that also means respecting our own labor. You can find our posters, prints, t-shirts and stickers in the shop. We also design posters and graphics for anticapitalist organisations on request. So reach out! Lastly, and most importantly, we provide art education for social movements, because everyone has art in them. Our workshops focus on creative techniques, analog methods, and how to produce a lot of art with scavenged and repurposed materials.
